Melissa Threet

Melissa Threet is a dedicated legal professional with more than 40 years of experience in the legal field and a deep passion for the law. She has held a wide range of roles—from file clerk and process server to managing collections cases—and currently serves as a paralegal at Domenici Law Firm, PC. Melissa completed the Mediation Program at UNM Law School and is an approved mediator for the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court and the New Mexico Magistrate Mediation Program. Her background also includes years of business ownership and community leadership, including serving as President of the Nob Hill Merchants’ Association. Melissa was also the New Mexico representative for Rotary International's international business exchange program with Sweden, and she is an honorary alumna of the New Mexico Military Institute. Born and raised in Albuquerque, she enjoys hiking, skiing, and horseback riding, and she is an enthusiastic animal lover who cares for three dogs, two cats, and a Nigerian Dwarf goat named Oreo.
